Neena Pattar is an American real estate agent based in the San Francisco Bay Area who works primarily in Fremont and San Jose, California.[1][2] She has held a real estate salesperson license since 2011.[3] She leads the Neena Pattar Group, a small team affiliated with Golden Gate Sotheby's International Realty, and holds the title Global Real Estate Advisor.[4][5] Her team's website also covers Sunnyvale, Santa Clara, Cupertino, Pleasanton and Los Gatos.[6][7]
Pattar came to real estate from the investment side, buying distressed properties, overseeing renovations and reselling them, before representing buyers and sellers directly.[1][8] She holds the Certified Negotiation Expert designation.[1][9] In September 2026 her team said it had been named the No. 1 team by sales volume and transactions for 2025 at Golden Gate Sotheby's International Realty, and her biography describes her as a top-producing agent in Fremont for 2025 by both sales volume and transactions.[5][1] MLS data on Homes.com attributes 42 closed sales worth about $60.9 million to her over the five years to September 2026.[10]

Background
Pattar was born and raised in Northern California.[1] She has lived in Fremont and San Jose since the early 2000s and describes herself as a longtime resident of San Jose.[11][1] Her team's website says that living in both cities gives her first-hand knowledge of which school boundaries affect resale values and which BART stations shorten commutes.[2]
Investment beginnings and licensing
Before working as an agent, Pattar invested in real estate, acquiring distressed properties, managing renovations and repositioning the homes for resale.[1][2] Her website says this experience with contractors, permits and renovation budgets shapes how she prepares listings for sale and how she advises buyers on older or dated homes.[8][12] The California Department of Real Estate issued her salesperson license on June 8, 2011, and she has served buyers and sellers in Fremont, San Jose and Los Gatos since that year.[3][1]
Sotheby's International Realty
Pattar's biography states that she joined Sotheby's International Realty in 2020.[1] State licensing records show her affiliated with Explore Ventures, Inc., the licensed entity under which she worked as a Venture Sotheby's International Realty agent, from October 2021 to June 2025, and currently with Decker Bullock Dreyfus Inc., the licensee for Golden Gate Sotheby's International Realty.[3][10][13][2] In July 2025, after Venture Sotheby's International Realty closed, Golden Gate Sotheby's International Realty announced that 20 agents, including Pattar, had joined the firm to serve Contra Costa, Alameda and Santa Clara counties.[14] Her team now works from the brokerage's office on Blossom Hill Road in Los Gatos.[1]

Neena Pattar (California DRE #01900134) is the team's lead agent.[3][4] Her listed specialties include resale homes, new construction, luxury and investment properties, and relocation, and her Homes.com profile lists houses, townhouses, condominiums and multifamily properties among the home types she handles.[5][10] Her closed sales range from condominiums of about $500,000 to single-family homes of more than $3 million.[11][10][15] Outside of real estate she lists hiking, fitness and time with her family and her English bulldogs among her interests.[1]

Pattar's practice is centered on southern Alameda County and Santa Clara County. Her team's website maintains area guides for Fremont, San Jose, Sunnyvale, Santa Clara, Cupertino, Pleasanton and Los Gatos, and dedicated pages presenting her as a Fremont and San Jose specialist.[6][2][12]
Fremont
Fremont is Pattar's primary market, and her website carries a Fremont area guide and listings search.[5][20] Her website describes the city as several distinct submarkets, with Mission San Jose, known for its highly rated school cluster, at the top of the price range and Warm Springs, near the Warm Springs/South Fremont BART station and Tesla's factory, offering newer housing stock.[2] Her team's promotional materials also name Irvington and Niles among the Fremont neighborhoods she serves.[5]
Her Fremont sales include a home on Gallegos Avenue in Mission San Jose, which she listed and sold for $2.3 million in April 2026,[21][10] and homes in the historic Niles district on Plumeria Way and in the Niles Garden community.[22][23] Other sales on her website are in Irvington (Bush Circle and Newport Drive), Warm Springs (the Metro Crossing condominiums near the Warm Springs BART station, and Indian Grass Terrace), Centerville, Ardenwood, Glenmoor and Northgate.[24][25][26][27][28][29][30][31] Her Fremont work spans condominiums around $615,000 to single-family homes of $2.5 million.[2]
San Jose
Pattar lives in San Jose and has worked there since 2011; her website carries a San Jose area guide.[1][12][32] Her website describes San Jose as a city of many distinct submarkets and singles out Willow Glen, Almaden Valley, Berryessa and Downtown as areas whose prices can move differently in the same quarter.[12] Her San Jose sales include homes in Willow Glen (Curtner Avenue) and on the border of Willow Glen and the Rose Garden (Muller Place), a single-story home in Berryessa, and a $3.05 million purchase on Hampton Drive in Almaden Valley, where she represented the buyer.[33][34][35][36][11] In 2026 she was marketing a condominium in the Communications Hill area.[37]
Sunnyvale
Sunnyvale is one of the Silicon Valley cities for which her website keeps an area guide.[38] Her highest-priced Sunnyvale sale is 884 South Mary Avenue, which she listed and sold for $3,360,000 in July 2026, 12 percent above its asking price; the same house had sold for $2.2 million in 2023, according to her website.[39][10][40]
Santa Clara
Her website also features Santa Clara, and her team's San Jose page describes her sales in neighboring Santa Clara and Sunnyvale as part of the same South Bay buyer pool.[41][12] Her Santa Clara sales include a 2022 sale on Live Oak Drive, where Homes.com credits her as co-listing agent.[10]
Cupertino
Cupertino is one of the featured areas on her team's website, which carries a Cupertino homes-for-sale and neighborhood guide.[42][6] Her Fremont page describes buyers weighing Fremont against pricier cities such as Palo Alto and Cupertino.[2]
Pleasanton
In the Tri-Valley, her website features Pleasanton, where her Venture Sotheby's International Realty profile was based.[43][10] Her Pleasanton sales include 2784 Calle de la Loma, which sold for $2,900,001 in 2022.[44]
South Bay, East Bay and Silicon Valley
Beyond her featured cities, Pattar handles sales across the wider Bay Area. Her closed sales include homes in Milpitas, Union City, Newark, Hayward, San Leandro, Livermore, Dublin, Danville, San Ramon, Alameda, Oakland and Berkeley in the East Bay, and in Los Gatos, Woodside and San Carlos to the south and west.[45][10][11] Her highest-priced sales on her website are two 2026 sales in the Berkeley hills, 8 Maybeck Twin Drive ($3.68 million) and 760 Wildcat Canyon Road ($3.275 million).[15][45] Her website notes that many Fremont sellers buy in Milpitas, Union City or further into the South Bay, and that her team coordinates both sides of such moves.[2]

Pattar's stated approach for sellers combines strategic pricing, preparation of the property before it goes on the Multiple Listing Service, targeted marketing and negotiation.[1][11] Her website attributes her emphasis on pre-listing preparation to her years as an investor, and says she advises sellers on which renovations are worth doing before a sale.[2][12] Through the Sotheby's International Realty network, her listings receive digital, print and international syndication.[1][46] Several of her 2026 listings sold above their asking prices, including 43075 Gallegos Avenue (16 percent above list) and 884 South Mary Avenue (12 percent above list).[10]
For buyers, her team's materials emphasize education about the process, particularly for first-time buyers, and responsiveness during escrow.[9][47] Client testimonials on her website describe sales at above-asking prices and help with competitive multiple-offer situations.[47][19] The team publishes a video series, "Neena Pattar Group", on its website.[48]
